Rustem Khamitov has met with doctors entered best Russian physicians list

UFA, 23 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On December 22, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with district doctors, which entered the list of 500 Russia's best physicians.

“I would like to congratulate you on the achievements that you reached and due to which our republic is in good standing in terms of health services providing. You are our best doctors- therapists,” said the head of the region.

The first in the Russian Federation rating of district physicians and general practitioners activities providing primary health care was published on October 18, 2016. It is an independent assessment of the quality of doctor work based on relevant indicators such as mortality, hospital admissions, the number of medical checkups passed, the number of ambulance calls. The rating includes primary care physicians and general practitioners providing primary health care in medical institutions subordinated to the executive bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation and local governments of city districts and municipal areas.

The Head of the Republic handed over diplomas to doctors, which entered the top 500 best Russian physicians, as well as to the staff of the women's clinic No. 2 of maternity hospital No. 3 for their win in the "Best women’s consultation clinic" nomination in the competition for the best obstetric and gynecological medical organization in Volga Federal District .

In an interview with the doctors Rustem Khamitov shared with the plans for construction and reconstruction of medical institutions in the republic. In particular, it is planned to construct new buildings of the Republican Cardiology Centre and the Republican Clinical Oncological Dispensary in Ufa.

“We understand that we should also erect a surgical department building in Uchaly. It is necessary to complete the works at the hospital in Salavat. It is necessary to build a number of children's clinics in the west of the republic, particularly in Dyurtyuli, Tuymazy. The surgical department building in the city of Oktyabrsky requires repairs. We will do all of it. And in fact, it has already been done a lot. We are moving forward, showing good results. But, of course, there is much work to be done yet”, underlined the Head of Bashkortostan.
