Ufa population will increase by four thousand in 2017

UFA, 22 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The population of Ufa will increase to 1.128 million people in 2017. These are the data of the main indicators of the city socio-economic development, approved by the deputies of the City Council on December 21. Currently, the city's population is estimated at 1,124,000.

Traditionally the forecast developed by Ufa administration in three scenarios: a conservative, baseline and target. The second is taken as a basic version. If we stick to the target scenario of the forecast, then in 2017 the population of Ufa will reach 1,129,000 people. By 2018, according to the target scenario the growth of population is predicted to hit the figure of 1 million 134 thousand, and by 2019 - 1 million 139 thousand people.

It is also projected an increase in the average monthly salary of the Ufa townspeople. According to the baseline scenario in 2017 it is expected to increase to 33 776 rubles. By 2019, the average salary in Ufa will grow up to 35,895 rubles in the baseline scenario and up to 36 998 – in target one. In 2016, the average salary in Ufa is officially 32,934 rubles.

Unemployment in Ufa should remain at the current level. Recently, there was reduction from 1.25 percent of the economically active population in 2015 to 1.1 percent in 2016.
