Bashkortostan Rectors Council named e-learning development as one of main tasks for 2017

UFA, 22 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. On December 21, a meeting of the Rectors Council of Bashkortostan universities took place in Ufa. The meeting was attended by the Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic Mikhail Zakomaldin. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Salavat Sagitov, the Minister of Education of the region Gulnaz Shafikova and other officials participated in the discussion.

The Rectors Council identified key priorities in the coming year. Among the main tasks is development of e-learning.

As the press service of the Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Bashkortostan informs, one of the key topics of the meeting was participation of the regional students in the Volga district projects. In his speech, Michael Zakomaldin stressed that thanks to the support of the universities youngsters showed good results in intellectual and sports competitions of the federal scale. The wins count includes prizes in the Intellectual Olympiiads, "Turiada" sports and tourist camp and other projects of the Volga Federal District.

"However, the position of the region at the "iVolga" Youth International Forum significantly weakened in the last year", said Mikhail Zakomaldin with criticism. He called on rectors to pay more attention to the selection of participants and scientific research areas at the "iVolga". The Chief Federal Inspector also summarized the work of the Junior Academy of Public Administration, which operates in Bashkortostan under the patronage of Volga Envoy Mikhail Babich.
