Ice town construction for Hockey Stars Week can be seen on-line in Ufa

UFA, 20 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The construction of an ice town in honour of the upcoming Week of Hockey Stars -2017 can be seen online in Ufa.

The ice town is located in an area between "Centralny" Shopping Mall and "Ufa-Arena". It features ice "Athletes Alley" decorated with LED arches.

A hockey and sports town atmosphere gradually transfers into a fairy-tale one, where children will be able to wander through the labyrinth of a castle with a clock, the press service of the Ufa administration informs.

Near the New-Year Tree ice compositions for making photos will be installed.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the Week of Hockey Stars 2017 will take place in the Bashkir capital from January 15 to 22.

The show in a new format will combine three leagues: teams of masters, "junior" and women’s teams.

The Hockey Week will open with a match of MHL Challenge Cup on January 15, 2017. On Thursday, the 19th of January, the Ufa public will be treated to the first ever Women’s Hockey League All-Star Game, which will bring together 34 of the most prominent hockey players of the Women’s Hockey League. Saturday, the 21st of January, is capped by the popular Master Show Super Skills competition, in which the League’s best players will take part in various competitions. The culmination of the festival will be a four-team tournament, which will take place on January 22.
