Bashinform News Agency was given letter of gratitude for objectivity in covering Rosgvardiya activities

UFA, 19 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Rosgvardiya (Federal National Guard Troops Service) in Bashkortostan Republic thanked the Bashinform News Agency staff for the objectivity and personal contribution to coverage of the Service activities. The Head of the Directorate, the Police Major General Vyacheslav Andreev handed over letters of thanks for journalistic work to the News Agency, TV companies "All Ufa" and "UTV", as well as several news sites.

As previously reported, the Federal National Guard Troops Service was formed in accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia on April 5, 2016. The decision on its creation has become the next step to ensure the system of state and public security as well as protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens. Rosgvardiya is engaged in protection of public order, important state objects, fight against terrorism and extremism, as well as providing the state of emergency and martial law, territorial defense. The department monitors compliance with law on turnover of weapons and implementation of private security activities.
