Issue of children safety on Internet is taken under control by State Assembly deputies in Bashkiria

Safety issues of children and adolescents on the Internet were discussed at the round table in the State Assembly of Bashkortostan. Members of parliament, scientists, doctors, representatives of ministries, departments and public organizations took part in the conversation.

As the press service of the regional parliament informs, reports were delivered by Deputy Chairman of the State Construction Committee, Law Enforcement and Judicial Affairs Ramil Khakimov, Deputy Minister of Education Filyus Minazov, the Chairman of the municipal parents' committee Anatoly Goryachev, representatives of the Prosecutor's Office RB, the Office of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications.

The participants discussed the problems of posting personal data on the network, Internet addiction syndrome, practice of prosecutor's supervision. It was marked an important role of parents and teachers in ensuring children’s information safety, effectiveness of work in this direction in the educational institutions of the republic.

The meeting resulted in recommendations to governments and public institutions to improve activities in this area.
