Ufa Planetarium invites to free lecture about life on Mars

UFA, 1 December 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The Ufa residents can enjoy a free popular science lecture "Planets that have deceived us". The program in the city planetarium will be presented by its author - the blogger and popularizer of cosmonautics Philip lozga Terekhov.

The audience will listen to the history of the terrestrial planets studies. The central question will be "Does Life Exist on Mars?".

"A hundred years ago it was possible to be a great optimist - channels on Mars, alluring suspense under dense atmosphere of Venus - everywhere there was a hope to find life. But the spacecraft showed us how we were mistaken in our expectations", the press service of the planetarium reports.

The lecture will take place on December 9. Beginning is at 19.00, admission is free.
