SARS incidence is growing in Bashkiria

At present, specialists of the region recorded a seasonal increase in the incidence of respiratory viral infections, which is characteristic for this period. However, the incidence remains below the epidemic threshold, Rospotrebnadzor RB reports.

A vaccination campaign against influenza continues in the republic. Today, 38.5 percent of the population is vaccinated in the region: about 1.6 million people, of which 300 thousand are children. This figure includes 103.5 thousand people, which were vaccinated at the expense of employers' and personal funds, the rest were vaccinated at the expense of the federal budget.

According to experts, the available flu vaccines provide protection against the virus strains that are the most relevant in the epidemiological season.

Pharmacists of Ufa do not observe a sharp increase in demand for antiviral drugs.
