HC Sochi beat Salavat Yulaev

UFA, 21 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. In Sochi, a championship match of the Kontinental Hockey League between HC Sochi and Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) took place yesterday. The home team won a strong-willed victory in shootouts - 4: 3.

The score was opened by Maxim Mayorov in the first period - 1: 0. In the second period the Sochi club evened the result, but Linus Umark hit the net during the powerplay - 2: 1.

In the third period the hosts changed the course of the meeting and before the end of the match were leading 3: 2. But Enver Lisin saved the team, having equalized three seconds before the buzzer - 3: 3.

The overtime did not reveal the winner. HC Sochi was more accurate in the shootouts - 4: 3.

The Ufa’s winning streak of seven matches was interrupted – HC Sochi outplays HC Salavat Yulaev for the second match in the current season.

On November 23, HC Salavat Yulaev will meet with HC Vityaz (Chekhov).
