EMERCOM warns of strengthening wind and emergencies in Bashkiria

UFA, 21 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Emergencies Ministry in Bashkortostan (EMERCOM) warns of wind strengthening and emergency situations. With reference to the data of the Republican Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring it reports that on November 22 in separate areas of the region it is expected wind gusts to 18 m/s, and they will reach 15-20 m/s on November 23 and 24.

The Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan pays attention to the fact that breakages of power and communication lines, utilities systems, falling trees, collapse of weakly fortified structures and road accidents are possible.

"Being outside, avoid getting close to power lines, trees, billboards. Pedestrians, be careful on the streets and while crossing the roads. Drivers slow down and observe traffic rules", the ministry addressed to republican residents.
