HC Salavat Yulaev snatched victory from HC Spartak
UFA, 18 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. In Moscow a match of the Kontinental Hockey League championship between HC Spartak and HC Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) took place yesterday.
The Ufa team opened the scoring in the 27 second with an accurate shot by Evgeny Bodrov. But Maxim Potapov and Viktor Bobrov scored during two and a half minutes in the second half of the first period - 2: 1.
In the second third of the match Ufa hockey players realized powerplay with the efforts of Linus Umark - 2: 2.
In fifteen minutes before the final buzzer, a throw by Alexander Loginov led the Salavat Yualev forward - 3: 2.
HC Spartak removed the goalkeeper and ten seconds before the end of regular time managed to save the game - 3: 3.
But a minute before the overtime expiry the Ufa team was persistent again - Zakhar Arzamastsev hit the net - 4: 3.
HC Salavat Yulaev won Spartak in Moscow after three years.
The Bashkiria team will carry out the next match on the Black Sea coast - against HC Sochi on November 19.
