Bashkir wrestler won silver medal at European Championship
UFA, 16 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The wrestler from Bashkortostan Dinar Akmurzin won a silver medal at the European Grappling Championships (NAGA) in the French Amiens. He was a single representative of our republic in the competition.
Dinar Akmurzin had two fights in the final. In the first fight he won the representative of Belgium, and in the second - lost with a score of 2: 1 to the Englishman. It is reported by the press service of the Executive Committee of the World Kurultai of Bashkirs.
Grappling combines technique of all wrestling disciplines with minimal restrictions on the use of painful and suffocating holds. This form of martial arts does not include blows. Grappling fights usually end before the regular time due to painful or suffocating holds.
