Channel One found families for 28 orphans from Bashkiria

UFA, 8 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The film crew of the Channel One has once again arrived in Ufa for filming video passports of orphans and children left without parental care brought up in the city orphanages. Ufa joined the All-Russian project «Videopassport» in July last year. The aim of the project is to update the database of orphans from all over Russia. The initiators of the show and short movies about orphans are TV hosts Elena and Timur Kizyakov. Some of these are shown under the heading "You will have a baby" in the program "Poka Vse Doma" on the Channel One.
During the project 47 videopassports of children were filmed in Ufa. 28 children are already placed in foster families and are in the process of documents registration. In July 2015, the Channel One showed five children from Bashkortostan, they were adopted immediately after the broadcast. After each air the sponsor of the program transferred 100 thousand rubles (a total of 500 thousand) on the account of institutions where children had been raised.
Now the project website contains 19 videopassports of children who are looking for their parents.
In the near future the database will be supplemented with new videopassports. The film crew of the Channel One plans to shoot another 22 videos in Ufa. During the week, shooting will take place in five institutions of the capital: the city and republican social shelters for children and adolescents without parental care, an infant orphanage, children's home No. 9, specialized children's home No. 2. As reported by the City Guardianship Directorate, the information about these children will appear on the «Videopassport» website within two weeks, and the "Poka Vse Doma" program will feature three young Ufa residents.
