Working hours are reduced in Bashkortostan on November 3

UFA, 2 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In connection with the celebration on November 4 of the National Unity Day, which this year falls on Friday, working hours are reduced by one hour on Thursday, 3 November.

In a five-day working week, the Russians this year will rest for three days - November 4, 5 and 6. On the basis of Article 120 of the Labour Code of Russia, while providing basic annual or annual additional paid leave the public holiday of November 4 is not included in the number of calendar days of leave.

The National Unity Day has been celebrated annually since 2005. The festive date appeared in Russia in commemoration of the events of 1612, when the militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from Polish invaders. Historically, this holiday is associated with the end of the Time of Troubles in Russia in the seventeenth century.
