USPTU Rector was awarded Order of Friendship of Tajikistan

UFA, 2 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) Rector Ramil Bakhtizin was awarded the Order of Friendship of the Republic of Tajikistan. The ceremony took place at the meeting of the Academic Council of the university on October 31. The order was handed over by the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ufa Olimhon Shamsov.

"I am glad that I have the great honour to hand over Ramil Bakhtizin on behalf of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon this state award - the Order of Friendship," said Olimhon Shamsov . "I would like to express my gratitude to Ramil Bakhtizin for understanding and support of our compatriots studying at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University. Petroleum industry in Russia is of great importance not only for Russia but for the world as a whole. Our cooperation revived with Ramil Bakhtizin taking the post of the rector. The contingent of students from Tajikistan has tripled; an agreement has been reached with the sponsored school, where vocational guidance for entering the university is carried out".

In turn, Ramil Bakhtizin noted that today the relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Bashkortostan are on the rise. "More than one hundred citizens of Tajikistan study at our university. They actively participate in social and cultural life of the university. We are proud that the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon is the professor emeritus of our university", said USPTU Rector.
