Bashkiria schools are attended by children from foreign countries

The school No. 8 of Tuimazy has a good tradition to enroll foreign pupils. This academic year is not an exception. Manuella Civilia came from Italy, Janisa Tachaburanakrn - from Thailand. They like Russia, its culture and customs.

Manuella comes from a small ancient town of Venosa, where it is warm all year round, so she is eagerly waiting for the winter to enjoy all its charms. The host Kharisovs family promised to teach her skiing. The Italian girl likes the dishes of the Bashkir cuisine and intends to treat her new family members with dishes of her national cuisine.

Janis Tachaburanakrn came from a multi-million city of Bangkok. She likes living in Tuimazy. She says that she feels there very relaxed and comfortable. Participation in the AFS program helps children and adults to get acquainted with a foreign country, its people, culture and customs.

The host parents say that they will try to do everything that Manuella and Janis love our country, the city, and its inhabitants, learn Russian language and nostalgically recall a year in Tuimazy, the municipal administration reports.
