Bashkiria and Uzbekistan are planning to create society of friendship

UFA, 1 November 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The Days of Bashkir culture finished in Tashkent. As part of the celebrations the Bashkortostan delegation talked with members of the association "Uzbekistan - Russia". The meeting discussed issues of further cooperation and a possibility of creating "Uzbekistan - Bashkortostan" society of friendship.

In addition, representatives of the republic held an extended meeting of the Executive Committee of the Kurultai of Bashkirs in Uzbekistan and met with the local youth. They also visited Tashkent attractions, the International Industrial Fair and the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.

As part of the celebrations the festival of Bashkir culture took place. The concert featured a performance of the Sterlitamak Theatre and Concert Association artists, the press service of the Executive Committee of the World Kurultai of Bashkirs informs.
