Rosstat reports about Bashkiria’s demographic development

UFA, 31 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Rosstat has published statistics on demographic development. As it turned out, less number of deaths and births were registered and fewer people got married and divorced in Bashkortostan.

According to statistics, in the first nine months in the republic this year, 42,580 children were born - by 1460 less than in the first nine months of 2015. 39 577 people died (-1634).

5009 local inhabitants died due to cancer (+339), 15 809 people due to blood circulatory diseases (+146), 2045 (-273) - respiratory system, 1713 (-241) - digestive system.

53 residents of Bashkortostan died from alcohol poisoning, 914 (-55) as a result of suicide, 176 (-48) because of murders, 301 (-145) in traffic accidents, 10 (-13) due to poisonings. The number of drowned people increased by 52 – a total of 218 since the beginning of the year.

For comparison: the Perm region leads in deaths from alcohol poisoning - 405, the same region leads in murders – 253, Tatarstan in car accidents - 311, again Perm region in water basins accidents (223), Chuvashia in poisonings (75). The Perm region is in the second place on suicides - 705, Udmurtia is on the third - 478.

20,207 couples got married in Bashkortostan in the first nine months of this year (by 3583 less). 11 662 couples divorced (-184).
