Salavat Yulaev won second shootout drawing in the season

UFA, 21 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. A match of the ninth championship of the Kontinental Hockey League finished in Vladivostok. HC Salavat Yulaev was stronger this time than HC Admiral in the shootout for the second time in a row in the Far East - 3: 2.

The goalkeeper of HC Admiral Bobkov made a mistake during a regular time - and his namesake Igor Makarov scored into an empty net - 1: 0. The second goal was made by Evgeny Bodrov at the end of the second period - 2: 0. But then the home team brought down the score after a long-range shot by Andrei Gavrilov - 1: 2.

Until the end of the match this score was on the board until the Ufa team conceded a goal on the powerplay - three minutes before the honk - 2 (!): 2.

During the overtime both teams failed to change the score.

Niklas Svedberg was luckier in the shootout. The decisive shot, as well as a few days ago in Khabarovsk, was again performed by Maxim Mayorov - 3: 2.

Thus Salavat Yulaev gained four points from possible nine ones during its eastern journey - Khabarovsk- Shanghai - Vladivostok.

The next match the Ufa team will play at home against Avangard (Omsk) on October 26.
