First time live surgery broadcasting will be widely used at Russian Urology Association Congress in Ufa

UFA, 20 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. From October 20 to 22, the Ufa Congress Hall will host the main urology event of the year – the 16th Congress of the Russian Urology Association (ROU). It will be attended by delegations from China, Germany, Italy and more than 60 regions of Russia, total more than one thousand people. Delegates will be heads and employees of scientific medical societies and associations, clinical centres, medical institutions and universities of Russia, Europe and China.

For the first time in the history of the ROU Congress live broadcast format will be widely used. Surgeries will be live broadcast from the Republican Clinical Hospital named after G.G. Kuvatov and BSMU Clinics.

Leading urologists of Russia and Germany will give master classes. This year, in addition to the eight breakout sessions participants will be able to take part in two extensive educational units "International School of Postgraduate Studies in Men’s Health (PRISM):« Interdisciplinary Aspects of Men's Health" and European Nephrolithiasis Urological School.

For the first time the program includes the section "radiation medicine", where experts will discuss the issues of cancer-urologic diseases diagnosis and treatment using radionuclide drugs. Also the program supposes breakfasts with experts, symposia and exhibitions from the leading experts from Russia and abroad in the field of urology.

The Congress starts at 08.30 on October 20.

The event is organized by the Russian Urology Association jointly with the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov and Bashkir State Medical University.
