Bashkortostan doctors were included in first ranking of best Russian therapists

UFA, 19 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Doctors from Bashkortostan were included in the first ranking of the best Russian therapists. Results of the study were presented during the presentation with participation of the Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, the Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova and the management of "Higher School of Economics", which was engaged in drawing up the ranking.

The study included clinics serving about 80 million people. The activity of almost 47 000 primary care physicians and general practitioners, more than half of all primary care professionals were evaluated. About 37 thousand specialists were included in the ranking.

The purpose of the ranking was not only moral incentives in providing quality health care. In the future, the results can be considered in financial rewarding of doctors.

The Top-500 ranking of the Russian therapists included doctors from 69 regions of the country - both young and those who serve patients for many years. Bashkortostan was represented by 15 specialists. Among them there were six doctors from Ufa (City Clinical Hospital No.18, polyclinics 47, 50, 52), four doctors from Sterlitamak (City Hospital No. 2, City Clinical Hospital No.3, Clinical Hospital No.1), two doctors from Neftekamsk, as well as per one doctor from Belebey, Tuymazy, Askarovo.

The Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets proposed to create similar ratings for other medical specialties. In the future, they can be formed for both teachers and cultural sphere professionals.

The ranking is published on the website of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
