During summer over 770 water reservoirs were cleaned up in Bashkiria

UFA, 10 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Bashkortostan traditionally supported the All-Russian ecological project "Water of Russia". The campaign to clean up the shores of water reservoirs from debris took place this summer in more than 70 regions. In the republic the campaign took place with the support of the territorial units of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology RB.

During the campaign more than 45 thousand people cleaned up 774 water reservoirs in the region. Together, the campaign participants collected about 19 thousand cubic meters of debris.

In addition to clearing water reservoirs 26 sources of industrial and domestic discharges into water bodies were identified. 196 water bodies were taken under public control, the Ministry of Ecology RB reported.
