Cold snap with chance of rain and snow comes to Bashkiria

UFA, 7 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. At the weekend in Bashkortostan it is expected rainy weather. Since the beginning of the new week it will become cold, sometimes with a chance of rain and snow, the Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Office reports.

On Saturday, 8 October, light and moderate rains will take place throughout the republic. The moderate southwest wind is forecast, with temperatures dropping at night to 0, +5C, and reaching +6C + 11C during the day. Somewhat warm weather will be preserved in the southern areas, where the air will warm up to +16C.

On Sunday, 9 October, the intensity of rainfall and its distribution throughout the region will decrease. The wind will move from the southeast to the northwest with low temperatures.

According to weather forecasts, the main drop in the air temperature is expected early next week. On Monday night, October 10 it will become cold to -2, +3C not exceeding +1,+ 6C during the day. The rain can be mixed with snow in some areas.

Then the whole week the cold snap will remain in the region with temperatures of 2-4 degrees below normal.

According to experts, the warm days in October are still possible; the imminent drop in temperature is not final. But the rise in temperatures to +15, +20C is not expected.
