Ufa Petroleum University has reached new agreements on cooperation with Indonesia

UFA, 6 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. On October 5, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia Mohammad Wahid Supriyadi. The delegation also included the authorized ministers Kiki Tjahjo Kusprabovo (also known as the coordinator of the Economic Department) and Darmawan Suparno (coordinator of the Department of Socio-Cultural Relations).

USPTU Rector Ramil Bakhtizin told foreign partners that nine nationals of Indonesia had studied at the university. In addition, last year the university was visited by the delegation of Indonesian businessmen who were interested in cooperation in the field of energy.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia designated perspective directions of cooperation between Indonesia and Russia in the field of oil industry development, having paid attention to the contract signed by the Pertamina company , controlling oil production and refining in Indonesia, and Rosneft.

The sides discussed possibilities of cooperation in the scientific field. It was also agreed to establish relationship between USPTU and the University of the City of Bandung.

The delegation from Indonesia visited also the Youth Technopark USPTU, met with students, members of the international community of petroleum engineers (SPE), who demonstrated proficiency in English and excellent professional skills, had a tour of the USPTU history museum, the university informs.
