Salavat Yulaev lost in anniversary match in Magnitogorsk

UFA, 5 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. In Magnitogorsk, the match of the ninth championship of the Kontinental Hockey League ended. HC Metallurg met with HC Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) for the hundredth time.

The game started with a goal of the home team, which first hit the net of Andrey Gavrilov - Danis Zaripov scored.

In the second period Jan Kovář first used the powerplay - 2: 0. But within 24 seconds the Ufa players Mikhail Vorobyov and Igor Makarov equalized- 2: 2. This score remained unchanged till the shootouts.

The Ufa team again lost in shootouts - 2: 3, only Makarov managed to score a goal.

HC Salavat Yulaev returns home with a good count - 10 points out of 12. The next match the Ufa players will hold against HC Tractor (Chelyabinsk) on October 8, which they have already lost this season in the away game 2: 4.
