Bashkortostan children took part in "Naval Air Show 2016"

UFA, 4 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Children from Bashkortostan took part in the "Naval Air Show -2016", which took place in the city of Gelendzhik. The 11th Naval Aviation International Exhibition and Conference for the first time hosted the International Festival of Children's Scientific and Technical Creativity "Off We Go!".

"Young inventors between 7 to 20 years old from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Pyatigorsk, Ulyanovsk, Lipetsk, Krasnoyarsk, Saratov, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Sverdlovsk and Lipetsk regions provided the exposition of submarines models, bathyscaphs, ships, boats, WIGs, seaplanes, sailing ships, air-cushion vehicles and drones created by themselves", the Russian Engineering Union representatives inform.

Our republic was represented by the fourth grade pupil of lyceum №60 Maxim Kozhevnikov with the project of airfoil boat "Vzhik". The invention of the young Ufa native drew attention of the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

During the festival, the schoolchildren met with members of the aerobatic teams "Strizhi" and "Vityazi", as well as bikers from Smolensk. A workshop on the ship's weapons and a safari park tour were organized for children.
