Teachers will be honoured in Ufa

UFA, 3 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The traditional Teacher's Day is marked in Russia on October 5. The Ufa teaching community will be congratulated on Tuesday, October 4, at "Bashkortostan" Concert Hall.

According to the information-analytical department of Ufa scientific information and methodical centre, heads of educational institutions, teachers, long-service pedagogical employees, representatives of governments, trade unions, civil society organizations and the media are invited at the event.

The educational institutions of Ufa employ more than 12 thousand of teachers. Among them, more than six thousand are teachers of educational institutions, about 4,500 - of pre-school institutions - and 1,000 of additional education institutions. In the new academic year nearly 150 young teachers started to work.

More than two thousand educators have state awards, honourary titles, orders and medals of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Annually urban professional competitions for the best teachers are conducted. Many young teachers are holders of republican grants.

Due to the professionalism of Ufa teachers our schoolchildren annually become winners of republican, national and international competitions and contests.
