Guests from Russia and abroad arrived at Aksakov Festival in Ufa

UFA, 30 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The 26th International Aksakov Festival is widely celebrated in Ufa. The activities dedicated to it began already on September 29 with a master class of the artist Victor Suzdaltsev and interactive program for children "The Scarlet Flower", the press service of the Ufa City Council informs.

Also, a musical evening and a master class with the vice-president of the M.I. Glinka Society, the pianist Vladimir Ryabchikov were held in the S.T. Aksakov Memorial House-Museum. The main events take place on Friday, September 30. The M.V. Nesterov Bashkir State Museum hosts a round table discussing the topic "Abramtsevo - Moscow Estate of S.T. Aksakov". The traditional Aksakov lessons were held in the branch of the Moscow State Academy of Water Transport and Aksakov Grammar School No. 11.

At 15.30 the jubilee photo exhibition "... A Faithful Friend and Husband ..." opens in the Memorial House-Museum. It is timed to the 225th anniversary of the writer's birth. After that costumed festivities on Sofyushkina Alley will be carried out. The pageant will be attended by the deputies of the Ufa City Council and guests of the International Aksakov Holiday.

Laying flowers to the S.T. Aksakov monument is planned for 18.00. The second day of the Aksakov Festival will be closed with a ball in front of the Aksakov People's House (Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre) and a solemn party. Winners of the Aksakov Prize, established by the Ufa City Council will be awarded as part of the event.

The next day, the festivities will continue in Belebey, Karmaskaly and Ufa regions. The main celebrations will be held in the village of Nadezhdino that housed the family estate of Aksakov.
