Ufa brought together well-known mathematicians from around the world

UFA, 28 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa hosts the international mathematical conference. Renowned scientists from all over Russia, the CIS and foreign countries (Japan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and other countries) arrived in the city to participate in it. Among them there are representatives of the largest Russian research institutes and universities: L.D. Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics RAS, V.A. Steklov Institute of Mathematics RAS, the M.V. Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, MIPT, Higher School of Economics, Southern Federal University, N.I. Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University, Novosibirsk State University, Kazan (Volga) Federal University, Volgograd State University, Northern (Arctic) Federal University. Sectional reports will be delivered by more than 20 scientists of Bashkir State University.

The Forum topics covers five areas: "Real and Complex Analysis", "Spectral Theory", "Differential Equations", "Mathematical Physics", "Quantum Probability and Quantum Information Theory".

The conference was opened with a plenary session, which was followed by work in sections. During the event, participants celebrated one of the main organizers of the forum, the member of the program committee Valentin Napalkov – the known scientist, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Sciences RB, who marked its 75th anniversary this year.

The event organizers are: Institute of Mathematics of Ufa Science Centre RAS, Bashkir State University and M. Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University. The conference is supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and the Federal Agency of Scientific Organizations.
