More than 70 thousand people took part in volunteer clean-up in Ufa

UFA, 26 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency,Gulfiya Akulova/. Last Saturday, more than 70 thousand people gathered for a citywide volunteer clean-up in Ufa. According to the administration of the capital, the clean-up participants were employees of housing and communal services of the city, businesses and organizations, active citizens, students of secondary, vocational and higher education institutions.

About 800 units of equipment were involved in the cleaning. Sanitary cleaning, accomplishment and landscaping were carried out along the roads, in parks and squares and in yards. 457 seedlings of trees and over 200 shrubs were planted, more than 3,700 cubic meters of waste were collected and removed from the city.

A month-campaign on cleaning and landscaping the city territory will continue until October 20.
