Ufa Eye Diseases Research Institute is awarded in Copenhagen

UFA, 19 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency,Elmira Sabirova/. The Ufa Research Institute of Eye Diseases is awarded a special prize in Copenhagen. The Institute is marked for its work on determining the causes and treatment of retinal diseases as one of the most common diagnoses in ophthalmology. The award was handed over to the Director of the Institute Mukharram Bikbov.

The ceremony took place at the annual congress in Denmark where three conferences in various fields of ophthalmology were held: corneal diseases (Eucornea-2016), retina (Euretina-2016) and lens (ESCRS-2016). The event gathered more than six thousand people from 63 countries.

Training courses have been organized in addition to the main program, as well as courses for young scientists, which became an excellent platform for the exchange of experience.

Presentations were also made by the Ufa Research Institute scientists. The greatest interest among ophthalmologists caused the reports of doctors of medical sciences Rinat Faizrakhmanov and Ildar Zaidullin, as evidenced by hot debates and dozens of questions from the participants of the congress.
