FC Ufa named candidates to participate in World Cup FIFA-2018

UFA, 15 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The Ufa Football Club decided on real candidates, who can play for the Russian national team in 2018. The final part of the World Cup FIFA will be held in Russia, the press service of the Chief Federal Inspector for Bashkortostan reports. Applicants from Ufa were: goalkeeper Andrei Lunev, defender Viktor Vasin, midfielder Igor Bezdenezhnykh, defender Alexei Nikitin and one of the best young players - midfielder Ivan Oblyakov.

In Russia, the matches will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018. The Championship carrying out is scheduled for 12 stadiums in 11 cities, including in the Volga region - in Samara, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Saransk.

Yesterday the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President to the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich spent in Samara a meeting on execution of the Russian President's instructions on preparing for the Championship. At the meeting, the construction of the stadium, airport reconstruction and improvement of urban infrastructure were discussed.
