Ufa Amphitheatre is ready to host Eurasian Street Workout Festival

UFA, 9 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. On September 10, Ufa will host the Eurasian Street Workout Festival in the amphitheatre of the Congress Hall. The main purpose of the festival is to promote street workout and a healthy lifestyle among children, adolescents and young adults. This topic was a keynote at a press conference held at the Bashinform News Agency on the eve of the sports forum.

A Russian record in mass pushups will be set at the festival. It will be registered in the "Book of Records of Russia". The planned number of participants will be more than 1,500.

The sports competitions will take place in the following nominations: individual (30 athletes); team (will be attended by 10 teams of three people each).

The competition will be attended by more than 40 athletes from 18 cities of Russia, mostly from Bashkortostan.

The athletes will be evaluated by the jury, which members took part in the today’s briefing. This is the president of the World Street Workout & Street Lifting Federation Denis Minin (Ukraine) and Lee Wade Turner (London, UK) - the leader of the workout-movement in the UK, member of the Recession Proof Body team.

In case of bad weather the organizers provided gym facilities. Under favourable weather conditions all events will be carried out on the stage, where sports equipment is installed. The festival starts at 11.00.
