Cosmonaut Sergei Revin will open new school year at "Gagarin Centre" in Ufa

A grand opening of the new school year will take place at the Centre for Technical Education Support "Gagarin Centre" in Ufa on September 10. At 10 o'clock in the IМАХ hall of the "Iskra" cinema students of the technical school will meet with the Chairman of the "Gagarin Centre" board of trustees, the Hero of Russia, cosmonaut Sergei Revin. A private screening of the film "Beautiful Planet" will be also held there. At 12 o'clock Sergei Revin will take part in the educational exhibition at the Sheraton hotel.

The "Gagarin Centre" opening was held on April 8, 2016 on the eve of Cosmonautics Day and the 55th anniversary of the first manned flight into space. The facility is located on the first level of Bashkortostan lifestyle centre. Children and teenagers can acquire there not only knowledge but also practical skills in modern computers, network equipment, robotics systems, 3D-modeling, unmanned management. Schoolchildren from the first to ninth grades can apply for enrollment on the website of the centre.
