Russian rock musicians refuse from Friday drinks to help sick girl from Ufa

"Nashi Deti"(Our Children) Charitable Foundation together with the "Louna" rock band launched a social flashmob "Prohibition Friday" on the social network "VKontakte" among the soloists and members of rock bands from all over Russia. Organizers are calling to abandon the traditional Friday drinking and to transfer the saved money for the treatment of Renata Murtazina suffering from scoliosis of the fourth degree. The girl needs 700 thousand rubles for a surgery on the installation of titanium implants in her spine.

The funds are already raised from participants of the rock community from Orel, Magnitogorsk, Izhevsk, Vladimir and Moscow. The initiative of the Louna band soloist Lusine Gevorkian was supported by the bands "Record Orchestra", "Reki Yanvarya", "Downcast", "Annodomini", "V Sebe", "LaScala", "7B".

The participants are required to record a small amateur video, send it by e-mail at lechit.nduta@yandex.ru, challenge three friends and distribute the video in social media with the hashtag #suhayapyatnitsa# renatamurtazina # nashidetiufa. Donation for Renata can be done either through a credit card on the website "Nashi Deti", or by sending SMS «ФЕЯ» with an indication of the sum on the short code 3434. The surgery is scheduled for the end of September.
