"Help to Prepare for School" charity campaign raised more than 7.5 million rubles in Bashkiria

UFA, 6 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. In Bashkortostan "Help to Prepare for School" charity campaign results were summed up. According to the press service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB, thanks to the inhabitants of the republic, as well as organizations and enterprises more than five thousand schoolchildren from poor, large families and single-parent families received new school bags, stationery, shoes and clothes for the beginning of the new academic year.
School supplies were purchased for a total amount of more than 7.5 million rubles.
The most active charity campaign participant became the West inter-district centre for social assistance to families and children, which includes Sharan, Bakaly, Tuymazy, Bizhbulyak, Belebey, Buzdyak, Yermekeyevo Districts and the town of Oktyabrsky. "Organizations and entrepreneurs of the above municipalities have collected school supplies for a total amount of 3.5 million rubles", explained the press secretary of the Ministry of Labour RB Roza Kuzmenko.
Substantial support to schoolchildren from low-income families was also rendered by the Northwest inter-district centre for social assistance to families and children. Total, residents, businesses, organizations and enterprises of the cities of Neftekamsk, Agidel and Dyurtyuli, Ilishevo, Kushnarenkovo, Mishkino, Kaltasy, Krasnokamsk, Birsk and Chekmagushev Districts collected school supplies for 1.5 million rubles. Large donations were made by individuals also.
The South inter-district centre for social assistance to families and children is on the third place in terms of collected charitable funds, which includes Ishimbay, Fedorovka, Meleuz, Kugarchy, Kuyurgazy districts, the cities of Salavat and Kumertau. The concerned residents of these municipalities gathered stationery and school supplies totaling more than one million rubles.
