Rustem Khamitov examined Ufa schools readiness for new academic year

UFA, 1 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On September 1, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov during his working trip over Ufa inspected the readiness of the city schools for the academic year.

The school No. 31 with in-depth study of several subjects was built in 1971. According to the director Rishat Sharipov, 650 children, including 89 first-graders will begin to study there this year.

The Head of the Region congratulated the schoolchildren on the Day of Knowledge and examined equipment of classrooms. So, from the first three classes, only one meets the modern requirements. In the other two, in particular, there are no electronic boards; furniture with sharp corners is installed. The condition of the gym also raised some questions. Rustem Khamitov ordered as soon as possible to bring all the rooms and the gym in the proper state.

In the secondary school No. 116, built in 1963, the Head of the Region visited the 11th form of the sports and patriotic specialization supervised by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Such classes were first opened in the last academic year. The pupils actively participate and win in federal, republican and municipal military-patriotic activities.

The Head of the Republic visited classes for children with disabilities, a first-grade unit and a gym, as well as familiarized with the project of a multifunctional outdoor sports ground being under construction. It will include a hockey rink, basketball court, obstacle zone, workout-zone, fitness complex and a circular athletics track.

“In general, all our schools, universities, technical schools, colleges can be given a solid B for the preparations for the new academic year”, Rustem Khamitov said.
