Greek investors plan to build international environmental centre in Bashkiria

UFA, 30 August 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. A delegation of the Greek National Centre for Environmental Research visited Ermekeyevo region of our republic to study the conditions for production of ecologically clean agricultural products. The delegation included the President of the Centre, Professor Panagiotis Hristodulakis and Chief Researcher, Professor Panagiotis Giannakopoulos.

As the regional administration informs, the guests visited production, infrastructure and social facilities, discussed implementation of joint projects in the territory of the municipality with the region’s representatives. The delegation visited the Ermekeyevo reservoir, "Rodina" agricultural firm, which is famous for breeding thoroughbred horses, a workshop for koumiss production at "Tulpar" LLC.

The final point of the working visit was the Kasbei manor where a shop was constructed for treatment and bottling of "Crystal Spring" drinking water.

The Greek investors showed great interest in further cooperation with the region. In particular, it was decided to establish an international environmental centre at the "Kulchum" student health camp.
