A lot of super guests will be present at opening match of 9th KHL season in Ufa

UFA, 23 August 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. On August 23, HC Salavat Yulaev begins the ninth season in the Kontinental Hockey League.

A home match with HC Severstal (Cherepovets) will start at 19 o'clock, Ufa time.

The season opening match took place yesterday - the last Gagarin Cup finalists HC Metallurg and HC CSKA met in Magnitogorsk. Metallurg won with a minimum score - 3: 2.

All fans that will come to the "Ufa-Arena" for the first match of the Ufa team will have a few surprises.

As the press-service of Salavat Yulaev reports, a mascot - Seva lynx and cheerleaders of Severstal will fly from Cherepovets. So all comers will see a dance battle between cheerleaders from Ufa and Cherepovets, and will have a lot of fun with the teams’ mascots.

A symbolic face-off before the start of the match will be made by the champion of Brazilian Olympiad 2016, Ufa fencer Timur Safin.
