Rustem Khamitov inspected construction progress of Zaton bridge

UFA, 29 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Alexander Smirnov/. On July 29, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov examined a construction progress of a bridge over the river White in the Zaton neighborhood in Ufa.
The construction of the facility began in 2013. To date, works are completed by 90 percent. It was established 11 supports; the bridge span structures are completed. The total length of the bridge will be 836 m, length of approaches - 587 m. It is planned three lanes in the direction of the city centre, taking into account that one-way traffic towards the Zaton will be organized along the existing bridge.
According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the general contractor JSC "Uralmostostroy" Pavel Rabuhin, soon road surface dressing, lighting, overhead contact system, continuous monitoring system of the bridge will be installed.
Addressing to the management of "Dortransstroy" contractor, the Head of the Republic instructed to pay special attention to the quality of asphalt.
The General Director of LLC "Dortransstroy" Ravil Ibragimov ensured that the road surface on the Zaton bridge will serve at least 10 years.
As part of the facility a construction of overhead pedestrian crossing with of length of 61 m is also provided.
The cost of the bridge is about 5 billion rubles. It was assumed that the funding of the object in its entirety will be carried out at the expense of the republican budget. Since 2013, 3.5 billion rubles are allocated for the purpose. On July 18, a decree of the Russian Federation was signed, according to which the republic would receive 1.5 billion rubles for the completion of the construction.
With the opening of the bridge, residents and guests of the capital will be able to enter the city centre from the federal highway M-7 "Volga". Its commissioning is scheduled for the autumn of 2016.
“This is only the first of the bridges, which construction we have planned,” told Rustem Khamitov. “During five - maximum 10 years, we need to build three more bridges.”
