Bashkiria rowers won four medals at European Championships in Bulgaria

UFA, 19 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. The Bulgarian city of Plovdiv hosted the European Canoe Sprint Championships among athletes less than 23 years.

The Russian national team included the pupils of the Bashkir sports Varvara Baranova, Alexander Sergeyev and Oleg Sinyavin.

Varvara Baranova won a bronze medal in four-women canoe at a distance of 500 m.

As part of the national team Alexander Sergeyev and Oleg Sinyavin became champions in four-man canoe at a distance of 1000 m.

Alexander Sergeyev won one more gold medal in four-man canoe at a distance of 500 m.
