Ufa Airport is one of the most advanced in terms of aviation safety, experts say

This was stated by the Chairman of the Public Council of the Moscow Interregional Investigation Department on Transport Sergei Gruzd’. The annual meeting of the heads of Russian airports security services took place in Ufa.

According to the press service of the capital aviation hub, the event was organized by the Association "Airport" of Civil Aviation, the Russian Association of Air Transport Operators and the Ufa International Airport. The largest industry event was attended by more than 60 participants: managers of airport security services, representatives of educational institutions and organizations involved in the development of technical systems and means of transport security, industry experts.

"The Ufa Airport was chosen as the host side not accidentally,” said Sergei Gruzd’. “The company has experience in preparation for major international events; it is one of the most advanced in terms of aviation and transportation security. The introduced IT system allows tracking all movements of passengers and luggage. It is hard to get lost and lose your luggage at the airport".

During the meeting at the site of the Ufa airport the guests were demonstrated in operation the automated passenger access control system in a "clean" zone. The industry experts have estimated the project to transfer a part of the domestic passenger traffic to the international terminal of Ufa Airport and the internal organization of work to ensure a high level of safety in the air hub.
