Eight Bashkortostan organizations have won Russian President grants on social projects implementation

UFA, 4 July 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Eight organizations of Bashkortostan have won grants of the Russian President. The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB reports the results of the first competition in 2016 to support non-governmental organizations that implement social projects and projects in the sphere of rights and freedoms protection.
The total amount of support for regional projects is over 15 million rubles. The largest grant in the amount of about 5 million is won by "Markhamat" Charitable Educational Foundation. The funds will be spent on a two-day forum "Dialogue of Women: Charity without Borders" for the leaders of socially oriented non-profit organizations, representatives of business and social leaders of the social institutions of Russia, the CIS, SCO and BRICS.
The second largest grant - more than 4 million rubles - will be received by the "Centre of Geopolitical Studies "Berlek-Unity"- to carry out an expert council of Turkic peoples in Russia. Also among the winners there was the Rima Batalova’s Foundation "Youth of the Nation". The Ufa "Doverie" Social Service Centre will receive more than a million rubles for the project of social taxis and mobile teams for the citizens of retirement age and the disabled. The Sterlitamak Foundation for the Support and Development of Education won two grants: half a million rubles - for a project of rural schoolchildren vocational guidance development, and 168 thousand rubles - for a children creative contest. The Neftekamsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church on the federal grant funds - 750 thousand rubles - will open a "Salvation" rehabilitation centre for the people suffering from drug addiction. More than 2.5 million rubles are allocated for the private educational institution "Children's University" on the implementation of the project aimed at folk arts and crafts revival and development.
