Ufa fantast writer Robert Ibatullin - winner of Strugatsky Brothers International Prize

The novel "Rose and Worm" by the Ufa writer Robert Ibatullin was awarded the International Prize for Science Fiction of Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. This is reported by the Academy of Public Administration and Management under the Head of Bashkortostan. In the past, Robert Ibatullin was Assistant Professor of Political Science at Academy of Public Administration RB.

The 28th ceremony of ABS-Prize founded by Boris Strugatsky was held at the Pulkovo Observatory. Of the 31 applicants the "Rose and Worm" was the winner in the nomination "Fiction Work". Also, the science fiction novel was "Best Debut Book" of the Interpresscon 2016 prize.

Robert Ibatullin was born on December 11, 1974 in Ufa. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics, Bashkir State University, Candidate of Historical Sciences. Since 1995, he publishes in Ufa printed media. He was awarded the "Evening Ufa" newspaper prize in 1996. Since 2003 he has been working at Moscow State Academy of Water Transport.
