Vladimir Medinsky awarded Bashkortostan cultural professionals in Ufa

UFA, 23 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Ufa, Vladimir Medinsky, the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation held the 23rd meeting of the Coordination Council for Culture at the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Events of the Visiting Council are extended until 25 June in Bashkortostan.

The Coordination Council sessions are attended by the heads of executive bodies of subjects of the country in the sphere of culture.

"Today we have discussed two issues, one of them - is the progress of the Year of Cinema in Russia. In its framework a huge amount of activities are carried out. Thus, today the Moscow International Film Festival opens. On August 27 the first all-Russian campaign "Night of the Movies" will be held. I hope that this event will be popular, mass and regular. It supposes special night screenings in cinemas, as well as free screenings of domestic films in the open air, "said Vladimir Medinsky.

The second topic, which was discussed by the participants of the Coordination Council - was availability of cultural institutions in rural areas in the first place. Vladimir Medinsky named our region as the leader, including in the field of rural club networks growth. Also at the meeting the participants of the Council were instructed to strengthen cooperation with the regional military and historical societies. The Minister of Culture of Russia expressed his appreciation of culture sector employees for preparation and carrying out activities related to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. On behalf of the Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Ivanov, letters of gratitude were handed over to Fanil Nigmatzyanov, the Associate Professor at Ufa Z.Ismagilov State Institute of Arts, Ilshat Utyaev, the director of the National Museum of Military Glory, Salavat Sirgalin, the director of the Museum of the 112th Bashkir cavalry division, Bayras Ishberdin, the General Director of the Republican Centre of Folk Art and others.

Today, members of the Coordination Council for Culture will visit the "Symphonic Night" open air at the Ufa amphitheatre. On June 24, guests will examine the operation of multifunctional club in the village of Ilteryakovo in Karmaskaly region, will participate in the national folk festival. As part of the exit session on the same day the All-Russia seminar-conference on the culture development in the countryside will be held in Karmaskaly region. On June 25 a presentation of the nationwide virtual concert hall at Bashkir State Philharmonic Society will take place.
