Details of Bashkiria stage of "Silk Road" international rally are disclosed

UFA, 23 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Today, on June 22, at the Government of the Republic a final meeting of the organizational committee on preparation and carrying out a stage of the "Silk Road" international rally in the territory of Bashkortostan was held. According to the deputy minister of Youth and Sports RB Pavel Muslimov participants will arrive in Ufa in the afternoon on July 10.

"The first camp will be set up in the territory of the international airport where participants will have a rest and will check the technical condition of their cars. And since five in the morning on July 11 the first crews will go on driving. Total there will be about 120 of them, including sports trucks, jeeps and passenger cars. Vehicles will not go as a column, but by times. They will go on public roads in compliance with all traffic rules in the direction of Chelyabinsk. In Uchaly they will also pass a sports section of the road with length of 4.1 km", said Pavel Muslimov.

Recall that the "Silk Road" rally will start from the Red Square in Moscow on July 8. Racers are to cover 10 780 kilometers. The crews will proceed from Moscow via Kazan to Ufa. Then the participants through the border point will enter the territory of Kazakhstan on July 11. On July 16, they will cross the border, leaving behind ridges of the Tien Shan and reach China. On the way to the finish line in Tiananmen Square in Beijing, the drivers will visit Dunhuang and Jiayuguan, Alashan Youqi, Wuhai and Hohhot. On July 24 the rally will finish in Beijing.
