Ufa resident Timur Safin won gold medal at European Fencing Championship

UFA, 22 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. The European Fencing Championship started in Poland. The Russian foil fencer from Ufa Timur Safin won the first gold medal of the championship. In the deciding fight, he defeated the Frenchman Erwann Le Pechoux, - 15: 8.

Interestingly, the semi-final was much harder for Safin: there he beat another Frenchman Enzo Lefort just by one point - 15:14.
