World Cocktail Championship will be held for the first time in Ufa

UFA, 21 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Ufa, a qualifying stage of the professional skill competition among bartenders - World Cocktail Championship-2016 will be held for the first time. The major contest will begin on June 21 at 11:00 at the "MusicHall27" restaurant and will last until the evening, the head of the Association of Bartenders RB Eugene Nagimov shared with Bashinform News Agency.

"Over the past 50 years all over the world a contest among bartenders "World Cocktail Championship" is held. It is attended by more than 59 countries, including our country. The winners, selected as a result of the qualifying stage of the World Cup for Bartenders in the Volga region will be sent to the Russian tour" said Eugene Nagimov.

More than 40 representatives of 13 major cities in the Volga Federal District, including Kazan, Togliatti, Samara will compete in the professional skills at the Ufa restaurant.

Participants will demonstrate their skills in all areas related to the barman activities, will demonstrate knowledge of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, will make a special cocktail, will take part in a blind tasting.

The jury will select one winner in the "Best Profi" nomination (the best bartender of the Volga region) and "Flairing " (demonstration of juggling skills while cocktails making). They will have the right to represent Russia at the international competition. The best of the best will be handed over gifts from sponsors.
