More than 1.2 million objects are subject of All-Russian Agricultural Census in Bashkortostan

UFA, 21 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. There are 1.2 million objects of All-Russian Agricultural Census 2016 in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

"More than 1,100 thousand agricultural organizations are subject to census; 4.9 thousand peasant (farming) enterprises and individual entrepreneurs; 646.7 thousand private farms in rural areas and 48.5 thousand - in urban areas, 31.5 thousand horticultural plots", said the head of the Federal State Statistics Service Territorial Department in the Republic of Bashkortostan Akram Ganiev at the session of the Committee of the State Assembly RB.

For questions on the census everyone can apply to the territorial bodies of state statistics. In addition, pages of the press centre of the Russian Agricultural Census 2016 are available on social networks «VKontakte» and «Facebook» and in the "Live Journal" presented.

The All-Russian Agricultural Census 2016 will be held in Bashkortostan from 1 July to 15 August. The agricultural census is applied worldwide. According to the UN recommendation in developed countries, large-scale statistical studies are conducted at least once every 5-10 years. Currently in Australia and New Zealand agricultural census takes place every year, in Germany and the Netherlands - once every four years, in the United States and Canada - every five years.
