It is set a task - for four years to increase the life expectancy to 72 years in Bashkortostan

UFA, 17 June 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Zakharov/. "We set ourselves a task - for four years to increase the life expectancy of our citizens from the current 70 to 72 years, to reduce by 15 percent the mortality of working age people and by 15 percent - infant mortality. The program is being developed now; it is conventionally referred to as "5 steps to 72 years", said the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov at the panel session "Healthcare in Russia. How to Make An Effective System?" at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The program includes five stages. "Today, the situation is analyzed. Then, a working group of leading chief doctors of the republic and invited experts will prepare an immediate action plan, an action program. The third stage involves the choice of priorities. Then the implementation of the program goes, with simultaneous training health managers at the level of the best Russian and international practices", said the Prime Minister.
According to him "the main cause of high mortality and low life expectancy is a life style". Another reason is a significant limitation in resources.
Within the framework of the "Healthcare" national project the republic directed to the sphere up to 50 billion rubles per year, one-third of the budget. Now it is almost impossible to increase these costs. Thus health care sphere efforts to increase life expectancy might affect no more than 15-20 percent.
